How I Overcame My Shame Around AI (And How You Can Too)New Post
Hey Friend,
Let me tell you a little story about shame, self-doubt, and a surprising plot twist involving AI.
For the longest time, I carried this heavy weight of self-consciousness about using AI to write my blog posts. You see, I’m not one of those people who can casually string together two perfect words that flow effortlessly. Oh no. I’m the person who takes 30 words to say what most people can say in five. (If verbosity were a sport, I’d be a gold medalist.)

So when I started using AI, I was convinced everyone would think I was cheating, cutting corners, or somehow less authentic. The shame was real. I mean, I’m a creative entrepreneur! Aren’t I supposed to be effortlessly eloquent?
But then, something incredible happened:
AI didn’t replace my voice. It amplified it.
It helped me say things the way I wanted them to be heard. It took my swirling thoughts and gave them clarity. It helped me find my voice—the voice that had always been there but needed a little structure, a little polish, a little help.
And as I leaned into this tool (without all the guilt), I started to see how much more confident I was becoming. Writing stopped feeling like a struggle. It started feeling…dare I say it…pleasurable.
Now, here’s the thing I want you to know: I’ve always wanted a business that feels light, soft, and deeply aligned with my natural rhythms. I craved something that wasn’t about hustling, pushing, or pretending to have it all together.
And AI? It gave me a way to create that.
It allowed me to focus on what I love—sharing insights, teaching, and giving people a perspective shift they didn’t even know they needed—without burning myself out in the process.
So here’s the real tea: Without AI, I don’t know where I’d be.
And the biggest gift of all? It’s not just the blog posts or the content; it’s the confidence I’ve gained in the process. Confidence to build a business that feels like me. Confidence to step into my voice and trust it.
If you’ve ever felt ashamed or guilty about needing help, let this be your permission slip to release that right now. You’re not “cheating” by getting help. You’re giving yourself the tools you need to thrive.
And speaking of permission…
